Ferns - Prawn Relish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Ferns’ Prawn Balichow paste
  • 400g prawns, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Method

Prepare the Onions

  1. Melt butter in a pan.
  2. Fry chopped onions until they are translucent.

Add Balichow Paste

  1. Add Ferns’ Prawn Balichow paste to the pan.
  2. Sauté on a high flame.

Prepare the Prawns

  1. Chop the prawns and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Fry separately in 2 tbsp oil on a high flame for a minute.

Combine and Cook

  1. Add the fried prawns to the onion and Balichow mixture.
  2. Mix well and cook for another minute.

Serve

  1. Serve hot with rice or bread.
