Lentil and Spinach Curry Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Lentils
  • Water
  • Oil for frying
  • Mustard seeds
  • Tomatoes, chopped
  • Ferns' Hot Curry Paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Spinach leaves
  • Butter for finishing

Method:

  1. Begin by roasting the lentils in a thick-bottomed pan over gentle heat for about 5 minutes, or until they turn light golden brown. This step helps to enhance the flavor of the lentils.

  2. Once the lentils are roasted, add water to the pan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the lentils are tender. Set aside.
